This map shows where the old buildings were located before Operation Market Garden.  Most of these buildings were destroyed or damaged beyond repair.
Sim taking to a serving member of the US 101st Airborne division.  There is a veterans reunion weekend that happens every September and he will be jumping onto the actual drop zones that were used during the operation.

This memorial gives thanks to the people of Arnhem from the soldiers who landed there.

Airbourne memorial outside the museum.  The first stone of this structure was laid by General Roy Urquhart himself.

This is where General Roy Urquhart set up his headquarters during Operation Market Garden.   Doctors, Chaplins and the seriously wounded were left behind when the Allies pulled out.
Newspaper report says it all - English version is in the middle.
