Can you find this arrow slit in the wall of the lady tower? Its shape means that it would have been impossible to shoot an arrow from - it's just to look pretty!

This was the main well, for getting water. It is in a courtyard in the centre of the castle.

This stone channel was used as a drain. It would have helped to keep the inner courtyard dry and easier to walk on
