We found this brilliant 'army' leaf that we though would be well camouflaged.
This field used to have tall sweetcorn growing in it.
Here is an old dry sweetcorn. We thought lots of animals would have eaten these left-behind corns.
We did lots of running on this walk. We ran up hills, down hills and around hills!
We were looking out for things that make the High Weald special. We wondered whether this was an old sunken lane?
We loved climbing on this old fallen tree. We saw lots of tiny animals that were also enjoying using it.
We were told that some of these ponds had crested newts in them. Wow! We looked, but didn't see any.
We enjoyed this route through the trees. We all wished that this was our garden!
It took six of us to 'hug' this old horse chestnut tree. It was enormous.
We kept looking back to see what we could see. We saw the windmill from lots of different angles.
We spotted Rolvenden Church from a long way away. We also saw Tenterden Church from a bit further down the field.
We found some special Kent houses. We noted the timber framing of the farmhouse and talked about the job of Oast Houses.
