Looking over the fields towards Oad Street from the junction of Pond Farm Rd and School Lane
As the sun gets lower, the temperature is dropping again.
Looking through the farm yard
Ss Peter and Paul church, Borden
You can't see the bitter wind blowing across the fields
Looking back to the farm yard
The track towards Sutton Baron
The snow makes this abandoned tyre look like a marshmallow polo mint
Multiple tracks - probably the dogs onto the scent of something
Now the light is going, looking west
Looking back up the track to Borden
Small snowdrifts form as the wind blows
Dog walkers having a chat
The dogs were loving it, bouncing around in the snow
The storm clouds are gathering over Sheppey to the North
Tumble-down shed in the garden
Sutton Baron road is through the cutting
Look carefully to see the wing prints where a Kestrel landed to catch a mouse in the snow.
Looking west towards the cottages at the start of Vigo Lane
Sunset isn't far off over the other side of the M2 Motorway, hidden in the dip
Pretty clouds touched with gold
Someone has been this way before
That storm is racing up behind me
Sutton Baron and Wrens Court with the storm clouds behind
The M2 is running towards Faversham
The M2 down in the dip on the left, running towards London and junction 5
Long lens look at the sunset over Detling way
The clouds show the blizzard is just about to break. Time to turn round and head home into the teeth of the storm. Not far to go really!!
