By surprise there was this morning a fresh layer of snow. At the top 25 cm and at 2000 meter 15 cm. The loud explosions were the indications of the safety measurements taken the men of Setam and Sevabel. Hardly no lifts were open at 09.00 and it lasted more then 3 hours to secure the pistes. Moreover the high winds hampered the opening of the lifts to the summits. The connection with Les Menuires-Val Thorens was only possible with the old draglift Montelauver. In the first part of the morning there a faint sunshine. The rest of the day was grey and dark. The visibility on the pistes was bad. On the pistes to Orelle/Rosael there was hardly nobody. And due to the closed 3-V connections it was also very quiet in Val Thorens. To fully enjoy the fresh snow was not possible because of the visibility.
