[EN] This morning the weather was really bad. It rained and the clouds were at the treetops. Nevertheless, we drove from our motel in Turangi south to the Tongariro National Park to see the Mt. Ngaruhoe and Mt. Tongariro volcanoes. We have not seen much because of the weather, and continued around the park driving on the interesting Desert Road. Next, after passing again through Turangi and Taupo we drove to Rotorua visiting the Craters of the Moon Thermal Area and the Wai-O-Taki Thermal Wonderland enjoying clear skies again. We stopped at a motel in Rotorua for the night.
[PL] Dziś rano pogoda była bardzo zła. Padało a chmury ocierały się o szczyty drzew. Pomimo tego, pojechaliśmy z naszego motelu w Turangi na południe do parku Narodowego Tongariro aby zobaczyć wulkany Ngaruhoe i Mt. Tongariro. Niestety, niewiele zobaczyliśmy ze względu na pogodę, ale pojechaliśmy dalej wokół parku, aby przejechać się bardzo interesującą droga przez pustynię (Desert Road). Następnie, po przejechaniu znów przez miasteczka Turangi i Taupo pojechaliśmy w kierunku miasta Rotorua odwiedzając parki ze zjawiskami geotermicznymi Craters of the Moon (kratery księżycowe) i Park Termalny Wai-O-Taki. Mieliśmy szczęście, bo niebo wyjaśniało podczas tej części wycieczki. Zatrzymaliśmy się na noc w motelu w Rotorua.
