Departed from Long Beach in late afternoon and arrived at Catalina Island at 7:30am the next day. We cruised around the island by bike, did some window shopping, ate a yummy ice cream, took a submarine tour, and tried kayaking for the first time. The breeze was so soothing that even sitting on the beach and doing nothing was enjoyable. After leaving the Island, the ship started sailing south toward Ensenada, Mexico at around 6pm. When we woke up in the third morning, Ensenada was already outside of our window. Unfortunately, our boat only stopped there for a short while before it turned around and heading back without letting us go on shore due to the outbreak of swine flu (豬流感). Basically, we spent the third day at sea just to enjoy the facilities that the cruise ship could offer. Debarkation procedures started early on the fourth day morning. We had our breakfast and ready to leave at about 7 am since we wanted to get ahead of the crowds in order to take our kids to school before it was too late. Well, to wrap it up, it's a fun and relaxing experience in general.
