The starting point of my cycle ride, having just got off the train I now head for the Wey Navigation.
At this point I leave the river and join the disused spur to the London - Portsmouth mainline.
This short spur leads me to the site of Peasmarsh Junction.
This is the point where the former branch line to Horsham commences.
Just a few feet of track are left in situ, note the tree growing through it.
This spot marks the point of the foot crossing for the signal man.
This bridge was replaced just a few years before the line closed. It was removed soon after closure and has since been replaced with a pedestrian version!
Looking towards Bramley and Wonersh.
Looking through the station towards Cranleigh.
The signs here are orignal fixtures.

The sign is original, but the crossing gates are replicas.
This is all that remains of the original station building.
The platform shelter isn't original, but is very similar to the original one standing on the same spot.
Having passed Cranleigh, well on the way to Baynards.
Why is it always the back wheel??
Once again, an original fixture. The station is private property.

Looking back at Baynards Station.
Baynards Station is beyond the bridge. The cutting leading to the tunnel has been in filled.
