A disaster of a day Kap wise leaving my trigger system at home, had to improvise. And it's here the I-got-U GPs device stopped tracking, it's only recorded a short bit of our stay in the middle area of the beach, but has completed the trip from start to finish.

Just as i got going the sun came out and had to stop in a layby and let all the slow traffic i had just overtaken go past me again. The A361 is quite hilly in parts as it crosses Exmoor. Our quest is to shoot some Kite aided Photo's with my recently finished 8ft Rokkaku kite and my Nex5, but i had left the Gentled trigger for my Sony Nex5 at home. Without this gadget i was left with the inbuilt 10 second timer. Fastening the kite line to a screw dog stake, i primed the camera and let it go, hoping to steady it enough for the shots to come out at 1/500th second. I had some keepers so it wasn't a wasted journey. As we left the beach i shot a 360 Panorama from the apex of the pebbles with the Peleng 8mm on the Nex, but omitted to take a looking down shot. I have photoshopped my large shadow out of some purely for the 360, being late on a winters day the shadows where quite long.
The I-got-u didn't have a good day as it didn't track my beach walk or the kite travel for Altitude.

Hasn't been accepted for 360 because of the missing floor shot, but i can add that in when i get back there, someday ;-)
The kite flew very well, the dog had fun until the beach emptied and he got bored and cold, hence the look on his face. We didn't wait for the sunset as i was freezing also and my spex where coated in salt, not from the sea but tears pouring out of my eyes with the cold brisk wind.
