[EN] We drove from our condo to downtown Christiansted and parked close to Fort Christianvaern. After visiting the fort and collecting passport stamps, we visited the Steeple Building (the former Lutheran Church) and the Scale House, where we also collected passport stamps. We walked around town admiring the old houses and arched passageways. After lunch at our condo, we drove to locate the Visitor Center of the Salt River Bay National Historical Park and Ecological Preserve. There were no signs to the newly opened Visitors Center. The road was very steep and unpaved. We will go there on Monday, when it will be opened. Next, we drove west to visit the St. George Village Botanical Garden and the second old Danish town on the island - Fredriksted.
[PL] Pojechaliśmy z naszego kondo do centrum Christiansted i zaparkowaliśmy blisko Fortu Christianvaern. Zwiedziliśmy Fort i podstemplowaliśmy nasz Paszport do Twoich Parków Narodowych. Następnie zwiedziliśmy Steeple House, dawny duński kościół ewangelicki i budynek Wagi Celnej, gdzie też podstemplowaliśmy nasz paszport. Po lunchu w naszym kondo, pojechaliśmy odszukać nowo zbudowane Muzeum i Punkt Informacyjny Narodowego Parku Historycznego Zatoki Słonej Rzeki (Salt River Bay) i Rezerwatu Ekologicznego. Nie było tam wcale oznakowania a droga była nieutwardzona i bardzo stroma. Pojedziemy tam w poniedziałek, kiedy będzie otwarte. Następnie zwiedziliśmy Ogród Botaniczny Wioska Św. Jerzego (St. George Village) i Fredriksted, drugie stare duńskie miasto na wyspie.
