[EN] In the early morning we took the car ferry from St. Thomas Red Hook ferry terminal to Cruz Bay on St. John. We visited the Virgin Islands National Park, which covers about 60% of this island. We spent some time on the Trunk Bay Beach where the underwater snorkel trail is located. Next, we drove to visit the ruins of the Danish Annaberg sugar plantation. Returning to Cruz Bay, we stopped for the night at the cozy St. John Inn. During an evening downpour, we walked downtown and stopped at the first restaurant. By chance, Fatty Crab restaurant turned out to have an excellent and authentic Indonesian & Malaysian cuisine.

The cuisine is Indonesian and Malaysian. As we have been to Singapore and Malaysia a few years ago, we can testify that this cuisine is authentic. We took the Wahoo fish with noodles, Green papaya and mango salad (it is pleasantly spicy), and Pepper squid with Indonesian sweet soy sauce called "kecap manis". For desert we took lemon and lemon grass wedges. The cocktails were also excellent. Service was very friendly.

Kuchnia jest indonezyjsko-malezyjska. Znamy ją dość dobrze, bo kilka lat temu byliśmy w Singapurze i Malezji. Możemy zaświadczyć, że dania były jak najbardziej autentyczne. Zamówiliśy rybę wahoo (rodzaj makreli) w kluseczkach, potem sałatkę z zielonej papai i mango (miło ostra) oraz kałamarnicę w pieprzu podaną z indonezyjskim słodkim sosem sojowym \"kecap manis\". Na deser zamówiliśmy trójkąty ciasta z cytryną i trawą cytrynową. Mają także znakomite koktaile. Obsluga była bardzo miła.")
