Hello folks
As a newbe I maybe do not know all the tricks and functions...
I recorded a flight and loaded it onto the Server: http://www.a-trip.com/tracks/view/67689
Unfortunately the track is always reduced to ground although the altitude was recorded correctly as the raw data show.
Additionally the exported kmz-file shows the track as 3D in Google Earth.
Anyone that knows similar problem?
Mark

Hello, welcome:
First, I advise you to use the style template sports (Trip composer on the button to the left of the button on the runner) This template, view more details about the trip, and a graphic.

Thank you for this tip. Now more details are displayed.
But the "flight" follows still the earth surface instead of the chosen flight altitude...
How can I manage to set up the track with the recorded altitude?
Thanks in advance

Hello
And I understand what you mean.
The display of the Google Earth 3D journey, do not provide the flight altitude, but only provides data for: eye of the observer position and elevation data on where the mouse is located on the map, as can be seen in the two attached screenshots.
I have visited other trips that have pictures on commercial flights, and also have the same behavior.
On the other hand, the 2D display, if you get altitude information at each point of the trajectory to coincide with the graph, as seen in the screenshot below.
From what I've seen does not appear that the 3D representation from @ trip, take advantage of the elevation data of the route, only the height data (as you well say) the Earth's surface.
Greetings.
